Description:

8 days of deluxe fishing adventure at Southern Lakes Yukon incl. accomodation (you can bring your own food or ask for full board lodging)

• Day 1:
  Arrival in Whitehorse or Tagish ( if you got your own wheels ) short shopping trip for groceries and transfer to Tagish toyour log cabin.
   
• Day 2:
  After lunch we start our first tour at Marsh or Tagish Lake und we will be trolling for lake trout. We will be back in the evening and envite you for a delicious dinner at our lodge.
   
• Day 3:
  Taku Arm: Today we are cruising around 40 km to the south in one of the big side arms of Tagish lake. Incredible views surrounded by the tagish plateau mountains, we reach Racine waterfalls. After a short hike to the cascades, we will fly and spin fish for arktic grayling at the river mouth. On the way back we hit several excellent spots for lake trout fishing ( Namaycush ). We will be back in Tagish in the evening.
   
• Day 4:
  Snafu Lake: After a one hour drive on the Atlin road we will reach Snafu Lake. A perfect spot for fly fishing for pike, especially on windy days. There is also fair fishing for lakers and good fishing for grayling. We will fish out of our small boat today. After a fish fry over a camp fire we will head back to Tagish. We will have you over for dinner again and bbq our catch.
   
• Day 5 and Day 6:
  Today we are heading out on Tagish lake again until we reach Squaw Point and Tushi river. In the depths of those spots big Lakers are waiting for us! We will also take a little side trip to moose arm for pike fishing.
   
• Day 7:
  Today we are fishing little Atlin Lake, just a 30 minute drive from our lodge. The fairly large lake is mostly shallow and loaded with pike and also not as prone to wind as the bigger lakes in the area. There is also lake trout in the deeper channels and very good for catching whitefish on the fly and little lures. When we are back we can also smoke our catch to bring some home for your return.
   
• Day 8:
  Shuttle to Whitehorse if needed.

Included in price:

Transfers from Whitehorse to Tagish and back, if needed. Transportation to all rivers and lakes. All tours with licensed guide, beverages and snacks during the day tours. Boats incl. gas, canoes, complete fishing gear. Accomodation in log cabins, free use of sauna, hot tub, fire pit and bbq.

Description:

8 days Wilderness Fishing trip on Quiet- Sandy and Big Salmon Lake, accomodation in a deluxe fully equipped Logcabin incl. sauna on an island in the wildernesss.

• Day 1:
  Arrival in Whitehorse airport or Tagish ( if you have your own vehicle ). Shopping tour for groceries, Transfer to Tagish, accomodation in your log cabin. Free use of sauna and hot tub.
   
• Day 2:
  After breakfast we are leaving for the south canol road. After 4 hours we arrive at Quiet Lake, where we load all supplies on our boat for our adventure to Big Salmon. On the way to our destination we are crossing two rivers and two lakes where we - of course - fish already. After 15 km we reach the river mouth to Sandy Lake - You will not beleive the abundance of Arctic graying in this watershed... We will fly fish or spin fish for them and on our way to the next lake we can troll for Namaycush and cast for pike inthe shallows. We will reach Big Salmon Lake and "Otter Island" in the evening. Yor log home on this island in the middle of nowhere is waiting for you. Protected from unwanted visitors like bears and other humans :-) this will be your basecamp for the next few days. The cabin is fully equipped with kitchen, bedrooms  for up to 6 person, living room with woodstove, outhouse toilet, porch and a seperate sauna building.
   
• Day 3 - 6:
  You will spend 4 more days on Big Salmon and Otter Island, the lake at your doorstep and you can fish in pristine wilderness for lake trout, pike and arctic grayling. Cozy evenings around the campfire, a romantic loghome with a sauna will make this trip unforgettable. Wildlife viewing like bears, moose and caribou and lots of water birds will be on your menu. You can spend endless hours fishing and even in the fall the fishing is still good in this area.
   
• Day 7:
  Your guide will pick you up early morning and we are leaving your little paradise heading north back to quiet lake where our van back to civilisation is waiting for us. We will be back in Tagish late that evening, dinner is on us!
   
• Day 8:
  Transfer to Whitehorse if needed for your departure.
